Tippecanoe County ranked 88th among counties in Indiana by annual earnings per resident, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The median income of Tippecanoe County residents was $23,406 per year, adjusted for inflation. It had 69,112 households with a population of 189,294.

The county with the highest median resident income in the state was Hamilton County with $45,180 per year after adjusting for inflation – $21,774 more than Tippecanoe County. It had 116,982 households with a population of 316,095.

The county with the lowest median resident income in the state was Monroe County with $21,750 per year after adjusting for inflation – $1,656 less than Tippecanoe County. It had 55,537 households with a population of 145,403.
