Attica Volunteer Fire Department issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Troy Routzahn will be answering some personal questions so you can get to know him better. Troy has been on the department since 1989 and is currently serving as Second Deputy Chief.
What is something about you citizens might find unusual or interesting?
I have been a lifelong Andy Griffith fan and watch the show daily. My favorite character is Barney Fife. I have had the opportunity to go to the Mayberry Cafe. But I was most excited when the movie premiere recently came to Attica. (Photos included)
What are your hobbies?
I enjoy model railroading, softball, off-roading with my RZR, and snowmobiling.
If you could recommend one place for people to go on vacation, where would it be and why?
I would recommend anywhere in the South. The scenery is beautiful and the people are wonderful. I have been on several off-roading trips in the South which have been fun.
What is at the top of your bucket list?
The current thing on my bucket list is to pursue a position with INDOT to be a snowplow driver. It has always been a dream of mine.
