City of Frankfort recently issued the following announcement.

Wanted Person Arrested after Attempting to Evade Arrest

On March 24, 2022, Officer Kaleb Thompson observed 23-year-old, Craig Hale

of Crawfordsville, operating a vehicle in the area of Jackson and Morrison Street. Officer

Thompson was aware of arrest warrants for Hale. Hale had two Failure to Appear warrants for

separate cases in 2020.

FPD officers waited until Hale had parked his vehicle to confront him. Once Hale made contact

with police he ran from officers. Unbeknownst to Hale, Officer Jake Myers had arrived so Hale

decided to enter a vehicle that was not his. Officers quickly pulled him from the vehicle and

made the arrest.

The Clinton County Prosecutor’s Office has filed the following NEW charges:

35-44.1-3-1(a)(3)/MA: Resisting Law Enforcement def. knowingly or intentionally flees from

law enfo, 35-44.1-3-1(a)(1)/MA: Resisting Law Enforcmnt: def. knowingly/intentionally

forcibly resist/obstruct, 35-43-4-2.7(d)/MB: Unauthorized Entry of a Motor Vehicle, 9-24-19-

1/IFA: Driving While Suspended
