We will be closed on the following holidays:

  • New Years Day
  • Presidents Day
  • Good Friday
  • Memorial Day
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Columbus Day
  • Veterens Day
  • Thanksgiving Day and the day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

City Trash Service

  • City trash service provided by Republic Services.
  • Regular trash pickup is every Wednesday.
  • Trash needs to be in the blue tote at the curb no earlier than Tuesday at noon and must be removed by Thursday at noon.  Everything must be in the tote. Additional tote is $15 extra per month.
  • Yard waste needs to be in the clear plastic bags which are available at the Covington City Building for a fee of $4 for 10 bags or $10 for 25 bags.
  • Yard waste should not to be put in the streets or on or near storm sewers.
Trash will not be picked up on the following days:

  • New Years Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Thanksgiving
  • 4th of July
  • Labor Day
  • Memorial Day
