Purdue Takes on #20/21 Maryland Thursday Night
The Purdue women's basketball team returns to Mackey Arena for its first ranked test of the year when it faces No. 20/21 Maryland on Thursday night. Matt Schumacker and Meghan McKeown will have the call for the 6:30 p.m. tipoff on Big Ten Network.
The Purdue Radio Network will have Tim Newton and Courtney Delks courtside on 95.3 BOB FM.
The first 1,000 fans in attendance will receive a free Purdue Basketball beanie.

The Boilermakers outlasted Michigan State on the road to pick up a 76-71 overtime win in their Big Ten opener. Purdue pounded the glass to a plus-20 rebounding margin, 50-30, led by 10 from Rickie Woltman. The Boilermakers stood firm on defense to overcome 30 turnovers, holding the Spartans to just 18 points off the giveaways. Lasha Petree paced Purdue with 18 points, while Jeanae Terry went for six points, eight rebounds and eight assists in the win.
