On Tuesday, March 18, former Jefferson High School standout Brett Denby’s college team won in an NCAA Division I baseball game

On Tuesday, March 18, former Jefferson High School standout Brett Denby’s current college team, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, won 14-6 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Gardner–Webb Runnin' Bulldogs.

The game took place at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Runnin' Bulldogs this season.

The Yellow Jackets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 4:30 p.m. at Frank Eck Stadium against Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
