Tippecanoe County recently issued the following announcement.

Wildcat Park is 53-acre property that is owned by the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and is leased to the Tippecanoe County Park and Recreation Department, which 

provides for the daily management of the park.

WEATHER PERMITTING……Wildcat Park’s primary purpose is to provide a canoe access to Wildcat Creek, one of the state’s Scenic Streams. Canoeists, tubers, fisherman 

(license required) and picnickers make great use of the property.

Park amenities include a picnic shelter (capacity 40), which may be reserved by contacting the Park Department office at 765-463-2306 (a $20 donation is suggested), a handicap 

accessible walkway linking the restrooms, picnic shelter, water fountain and observation deck overlooking the creek, to the parking area.
